The first woman, and second patient, to have their Covid-19 vaccine in Leicestershire was Anne Brookes, age 86, from Shepshed.
Leicestershire Partnership Trust said Anne is looking forward to playing Bridge again, face to face, and to seeing more of her family and friends.
Anne was among the first patients to receive the new PfizerBioNTech vaccination against Covid-19 at the Leicester General Hospital.
The vaccination programme began in the county on Saturday 12th December.
