There will be 12 holes on the ground floor and six on the first floor.
An 18-hole mini-golf will be opening its doors in Hinckley in February.
Sarah and Pete Olner are creating ‘The Birdie Bunker‘ in the Britannia Centre in the unit that used to be occupied by Poundworld.
The owners have said that the course will be suitable for all ages and that each hole will feature a different obstacle to overcome.
There will be 12 holes on the ground floor and six on the first floor, alongside a Cafe serving tea, coffee, cold drinks and light bites during the day.
The owners are currently applying for an alcohol licence so they can offer a full bar in the evening.
The Birdie Bunker will be open seven days a week: Monday to Thursday from 10am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 10pm. Sunday’s opening times will mirror those of the Britannia Centre – 10am to 4pm.
Steve Wegerif, Director of Hinckley BID, said: "We are delighted that Birdie Bunker has chosen Hinckley for their first mini-golf venture, and we are pleased to have helped them to find suitable premises within one of our main shopping areas. Hinckley’s hospitality offer has grown substantially over the past 12 months and Hinckley BID will shortly be producing a synopsis of all the different types of food & entertainment available within our Town centre, where it is located and what it offers."
