Detectives are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in a Hinckley street on Sunday 20th September.
In a statement a spokesperson from Leicestershire police said: "The victim, who is in his 30s, was cycling along Butt Lane, near the junction with Woodland Road, between 7.30pm and 8pm when he reported that a small, white car had pulled up behind him.
"It is believed four people were in the car. Two men were reported to have got out of the car and began punching and kicking the victim. The suspects then got back into the car which left the area.
