After discussion with fellow Association officers, it is with sadness that we have decided to cancel this year's Carnival; due to the #COVID19 outbreak.
The first time it won't take place since World War Two. 1/#Barwell
Even if things are better by August, it's practically impossible to undertake the organisation of the event given the present situation.

We want to thank everyone; our committee, those who would have expected to take part, and the great people of #Barwell for understanding. 2/
We look forward to being back, better and bigger than ever, next year...for a fantastic celebration of our wonderful village.

For now, however, we all must do our bit to halt the spread of this virus.
So, please, stay home. Stay Safe. Stay well. #Barwell
