Police say a body has found in a car park in New Buildings this morning.
Officers were called at 7:30am. A spokesperson said:
“The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner and identification of the deceased is a matter for the coroner.”
Wood Street reopened shortly after 10:30am.

Fire at Judkins Quarry in Nuneaton
Nuneaton and Bedworth Police are supporting Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service after receiving multiple calls about a fire at Judkins Quarry. Firefighters are tackling the blaze and although there’s currently no danger to the public, the fire is causing quite a lot of black smoke so they advise those in the vicinity to keep their windows and doors closed.
