The seat has been held by Dr Luke Evans since December 2019.

The MP for Bosworth has commented on the announcement that a General Election will take place on the 4th of July.

Dr Luke Evans has used the hashtag #bringiton on his social media post.

The Facebook post shared that the general election was announced whilst the MP celebrated his fifth wedding anniversary.

In the 2019 election, Dr Luke Evans received 63.9% of the vote.
