It happened on Thursday 27th February.
A burglary has taken place at a Stoney Stanton post office.
It happened in the early hours of Thursday morning in Long Street.
The glass of the front door was smashed and a quantity of cigarettes were taken.
A blue car was seen leaving the scene.
Detective Constable Kerry Willden, the investigating officer, said: “I’d like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything unusual in Long Street in the early hours of this morning.
“Do you have CCTV at your property? Perhaps you were working late, or on a night shift and driving through the area – there are houses in the area where this incident happened. Do you have a dashcam installed in your vehicle?
“Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you think it may be, could help my investigation.”
