Police are appealing for witnesses after camera equipment was stolen from a car in Loughborough.

In a statement Leicestershire police said: "The incident took place sometime between 7pm and 7.50pm on Sunday 28th June in a car park in Jubilee Woods, just off Woodhouse Lane.

"A grey Mercedes was broken into and a Nikon D610 camera, a Mavic Pro2 drone, various camera lenses, batteries and associated camera equipment was stolen.

"Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or knows someone who has acquired similar items recently.

"A possible witness to the incident left a note on the victim’s car and we would like to trace them as they may be able to provide information which could move this investigation on."

Officers are asking if anyone was in the Outwoods Car Park that evening and has video recording equipment installed in their vehicles, can they please check the footage and contact the force.
