One couple won almost half a million pounds as they had six tickets between them

A street in Earl Shilton has won The People's Postcode Lottery weekly Millionaire Street prize.

The prize has been shared with six neighbours on the street with the postcode LE9 7PA.

Each ticket picked up £76,923, but one couple won almost half a million pounds as they had six tickets between them.

Michael and Sandra won nearly half a million pounds just months after Michael suffered two strokes that could have killed him.

Michael said, "If I'm honest, I'm lucky to be alive - and this is the icing on the cake. Something like this happening was the furthest thing from my mind after everything."

Midwife Sandra added, "I'm not that emotional, but this is incredible. It's beyond my wildest dreams."
