Smoke was seen coming from a train this afternoon.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue received a called at 13:49 today (Thursday 8th June) to reports of smoke coming from a diesel train in the station.
Two appliances from Loughborough and East Leake were sent, as well as a water carrier.
On arrival firefighters could see smoke coming from the train but no flames.
Further inspection showed a small fire had started under the train, and was put out by a hose jet.
