Fly-tip blocks Leicestershire road

It was discovered in Roman Road, close to the entrance to Fosse Meadows nature reserve.

Work got underway yesterday to clear a large amount of fly-tipped waste found on a Leicestershire road.

It was discovered in Roman Road, close to the entrance to Fosse Meadows nature reserve.

On a Facebook post Blaby District Council said the waste contained "hazardous asbestos" which means it may take longer than usual to remove.
