A 48-year-old man from Rugby arrested on suspicion of committing a racially aggravated public order offence after it is alleged he was racially abusive to a custody officer at Nuneaton Justice Centre. He had previously been detained after officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a property in Pettiver Crescent, Rugby on Friday night. He was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, assault and criminal damager.
On the same night, a 38-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested after officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a property in Manor Road, Nuneaton. He was arrested on suspicion of Theft, being drunk and disorderly, committing a racially aggravated public order offence, breaching a non-molestation order, criminal damage and assault. He has been bailed while enquiries continue.
An 18-year-old man from Nuneaton was given a penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly after he was verbally abusive towards police officers in Bridge Street, Nuneaton in the early hours of Sunday morning.
