Suspected cannabis grow was found at the property.
Fire crews were sent to a serious fire at Greedon Rise in Sileby as the roof of a house was ablaze on Friday (18th February).
Appliances from Birstall, Loughborough, Western, East Leake, Shepshed, Wigston, Kibworth, Central and Eastern were sent to the scene.
When the crews arrived they confirmed that the fire had spread to the roof space in an adjoining property and two other adjoining properties had smoke damage.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: "A suspected cannabis grow was found at the property.
"At this stage, the fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault linked to the suspected cannabis grow. Enquiries are continuing."
No-one was reported to be in the property and no injuries were reported.
