A notice of the proposal has been put on the gates of the Victorian building.
A planning proposal has been submitted to convert the Holliers Walk Primary School building into 24 homes.
If successful, the plans are to create 24 dwellings, a community facility, parking, and public open space.
A notice of the proposal has been put on the gates of the Victorian building.
In March a consultation was started by Leicestershire County Council to determine the future of the former Primary School.
The building, which was built in 1878, has been empty since 2016 as the school relocated to Hinckley Parks Primary School on Leicester Road.
The application can be viewed on Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council's website and comments about the proposals can also be posted.
