Tim Wooley from Burbage has appealed directly to his wife to come home after she went missing last week.
49-year-old Hilary Woolley was last seen at her home, which is close to Robinson Way, Burbage, at 1pm on Thursday 27th June.
Her family returned to the address around 4.30pm, but she was not at the property and is believed to have left on foot.
Tim Woolley urged his wife to return home to him and their two children, aged 10 and 16. He also appealed to anyone who has seen Hilary since Thursday to contact the police.
Enquiries carried out by officers have previously released CCTV of Hilary making a transaction in a store in Wolvey Road, Burbage, around 1pm on Thursday.
Officers believe Hilary may be in the Glasgow area of Scotland and prior to that she may have been in the New Street area of Birmingham on Saturday 29th June.
Hilary is described as white, of large build, around 5ft tall, with shoulder length ginger hair.
PC Penny Smith from the force’s missing from home team, said: “Hilary has never been missing before, as each day of no news or sightings goes by we and Hilary’s family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
“She is known to have connections in the Daventry area of Northamptonshire, as well as Dunbar, Scotland. We are carrying out enquiries in those force areas and have circulated the appeal for Hilary across the country. If you can help in any way, whether you saw her a few days ago or you have any suspicions about where she may be now, then please get in touch.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 705 of 27 June 2019.
