Parents and carers of three and four-year olds have until 31 March to apply for the childcare for the summer term.
Working parents may still be able to claim if they are on furlough, not able to work or are working less, are self-employed, are a critical worker or if their working pattern has changed due to the pandemic.
Parents and carers can check eligibility and apply now by visiting www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
To access the 30 hours funded childcare, people need to take an eligibility code, along with their national insurance number, child’s name and date of birth, to their childcare provider.
To find a child care provider in Leicestershire visit www.leicestershire.gov.uk/find-a-childcare-provider, or for Warwickshire visit https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/childcare.
