The Borough Council have urged parents to explain the risks of such tresspassing.
CCTV captured three young people on the roof of a shop on Castle Street last week.
It happened on Tuesday 2nd September after 6pm.
One was seen walking on the edge, potentially risking a 10m or 32ft fall on to the high street below.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council said: "We are working with Hinckley Police to identify the young people, but it is not a safe place to be and nobody wants to see a tragedy. Please make sure your youngsters understand that anyone doing this is putting themselves and others at risk of serious injury."
Hinckley Police said:
"We continue to review the ongoing issues with kids climbing on the roof area around premises in Castle Street. The below is just one of over 15 reports we have had in the last month.
"Not only is damage being caused by the youngsters whilst up there, but we are so aware and concerned that it's only a matter of time before someone has an accident and ends up seriously hurt.
"We have collated a number of images now of youths involved and will be sharing these with local schools who should be able to identify them and then it's time to knock on a few doors and deal with the culprits!
"If you have kids aged between 12 - 18 and they are going out in the evening make sure you know where they are and what they are doing, ensure they know the dangers of climbing on top of buildings. I'm sure no one wants the police at their door!"
