New coronavirus restrictions have taken effect in Leicestershire and Warwickshire, as the country comes out of its second national lockdown.
The government announced last week what coronavirus restrictions we'll have to live by when the lockdown ended.
Boris Johnson introduced a three-tier system of local Covid-19 alert levels.
Leicestershire and Warwickshire have been placed into Tier 3 - Very high alert.
What does Tier 3 mean?
- No mixing of households indoors or most outdoor places - rule of six in outdoor spaces such as parks and sports courts
- Hospitality venues closed, except for takeaway, drive-through or delivery
- Indoor entertainment venues closed
- Avoid travelling outside the area other than where necessary, including foreign travel
- No overnight stays outside local area, unless necessary for work, education or similar reasons
- Accommodation closed (with limited exceptions such as work purposes)
