Fab Clinics has announced it will offer a discretionary voucher-swap to any customers affected by the sudden closure of Browns Hair and Beauty Salon.
It followed the shock announcement at the weekend that Browns, a long established salon in Loughborough, would be closing immediately.
A post on the Browns Facebook page said:
"After 8 years of trading the salon is closing due to the increased supplier costs, overheads, staff costs and other demands. It has not been an easy decision to make, as some of you will know the salon has been for sale since last year which would have been the optimal solution. We have tried our best to keep going despite the issues we face however we can no longer continue."
The facebook page for the salon has since been de-activated.
Fab Clinics, which is located on Park Road, said it would help customers who had been left in the lurch by the closure.
A post on the Fab Clinics website said:
"We are sorry to hear of the closure of Browns beauty in Loughborough. We would like to wish Emily and her staff all the best for the future. We understand that many customers have purchased vouchers for treatments at Browns and will have lost the opportunity to use these vouchers. As a gesture, on a discretionary basis, Fab Clinics is offering Browns voucher holders the opportunity to exchange the purchase value of any outstanding voucher balance for Fab vouchers, redeemable against any treatment at Fab Clinics."
Any customer who would like to know if they qualify for the swap is asked to contact Fab Clinics for further information.
