Dashcam Appeal
Police are appealing for motorists with dashcam footage to come forward.
Detective Constable Paul Hicks, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU), said: “I’m particularly keen to speak to anyone who was travelling in front of the Ford Focus and who has a rear-facing camera installed in their vehicle. People travelling on the opposite carriageway – towards Hinckley – who have a front-facing camera should also come forward.
“I would also like to speak to anyone who saw the collision occur or who saw it prior to the collision occurring. Any information you have could help our investigation.”
