The robbery happened in Galley Common yesterday (23rd May).
A robbery took place in Nuneaton yesterday evening and officers have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.
The incident happened on Chesterton Drive in Galley Common shortly before 9 pm.
It's reported that two men entered a shop and approached the cashier behind the counter.
One of the men is then reported to have leaned over and threatened the cashier with a knife before removing a quantity of cash from the till.
The men made off in an unknown direction.
DC Sam Hughes said: “We have begun an investigation and are particularly keen to speak to the man pictured as we think he may have information that could help with our ongoing enquiries.
“Thankfully the cashier was uninjured during the incident but was understandably left shaken up so we’re appealing to anyone who was in the shop between 8.50 pm and 9.10 pm to get in touch.
“We’d like anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to come forward as soon as possible.”
Anyone who recognises the man or who can help the investigation is asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 320 of 23 May.
