Prince William's test rides on a Triumph

The Duke of Cambridge tests out a new Triumph Motorcycle as part of a visit to Hinckley.

As part of the tour of Triumph UK in Hinckley, the Duke of Cambridge also placed a badge on one of the bikes in production. Triumph is the largest British motorcycle manufacturer and its assembly line in Leicestershire builds around 67,000 bikes per year.

The Duke was shown around the £6million paint shop in Hinckley. As part of the tour of Midlands motor manufacturers and developers, the Duke of Cambridge will also visit Mira near Nuneaton.

Prince William also unveiled a special commemorative fuel tank in honour of his visit. 

     

As part of his visit, the Duke of Cambridge also visited HORIBA Mira in Higham on the Hill. 

The Prince  was shown around the research and test facility on the outskirts of Nuneaton.
