The MP for Nuneaton and the MP for Bosworth have shared how they voted.

Conservative MP's from Nuneaton and Bosworth voted in last night’s vote of confidence in the Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Both Marcus Jones MP and Dr Luke Evans MP placed their vote in favour of the Prime Minister.

Yesterday morning Nuneaton's MP Marcus Jones showed his support of Boris Johnson in a tweet.

Marcus Jones MP, said: "My focus is on my constituents and the PM has my full support."

The MP for Bosworth Dr Luke Evans posted a statement on his website this morning which explains to his constituents why he voted in support of the Prime Minister.

He said: "I have heard representations on both sides of the argument and I know that some of the people I represent will be glad to hear this and others will be disappointed. But I wanted to let you all know that last night I voted in support of the Prime Minister."

Later in the statement, he said: "The question put to me in the vote was do I have confidence in the Prime Minister, yes or no. I voted yes. My confidence in the Prime Minister has been shaken, I am happy to admit that. I have said as much to the Prime Minister as I have to any constituent who has contacted me on this issue. However, I believe changes have been made and that delivery is key, and that is what I am keen to see."
