We’ve marked some safe distance waiting areas outside the essential stores in Castle St, #Hinckley for your safety & for the safety of others. The spray signage has been marked outside of WHSmith which is still open as well as the town centre post office.
It is not known if any other changes to the town centre are planned as part of plans to re-open the town centre once the lockdown ends.
Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council events in the town centre have also been cancelled because of the lockdown.
It comes after the council urged shoppers to continue to follow the rules of the lockdown which state people should only be in the town centre for essential trips or as part of their once per day exercise.
