Tenants banned from entering property after anti-social behaviour reports

"I hope this sends a clear message that disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated in or around council properties."

The order, which was granted on Monday 1st August following an application by local officers, will remain in place for three months.

Support has been offered to the occupants of the property.

Cllr James Poland, Charnwood Borough Council’s lead member for public housing, added: "The council is committed to working with partners to make our communities safer and I’m pleased we’ve been able to support police colleagues in successfully securing this closure order.

"We have a duty of care to protect residents in the borough and I hope this sends a clear message that disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated in or around council properties."
