LIGHTS
- Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and Hinckley United Reformed Church are inviting local disabled and elderly residents to come into Hinckley to see the Christmas lights this evening
- Upper Castle Street will be open to traffic from 6pm to 8pm so that people can see the lights and then exit onto Regent Street.
TREE
- If you are putting up your tree remember to check that fairy lights are in good working order that's the message from Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
- They are reminding people to turn off fairy lights and unplug them before going to bed or leaving the house.
PARK
- Volunteers have come together to give a makeover to a park in Nuneaton.
- Whittleford Park is now looking a lot brighter after the clean-up operation.
- Its the largest park in Nuneaton and Bedworth and includes a big area of important wildlife habitat including wildflower meadows, woodland, lakes and marshland.
