One of them jumped out of a window in an attempt to evade police.
Two men have been jailed for being involved in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin in Nuneaton.
At around 12:30 pm on Monday 23rd of May officers from Nuneaton’s Proactive CID witnessed 43-year-old Anthony Robinson involved in a drug deal.
When Robinson then entered his home address in Kensington Court, police approached the property.
Another man, 27-year-old Lentine Shaw of Guild Road in Coventry, leapt out of the window when he saw the officers arrive.
However, the police caught and detained him nearby.
Officers entered Robinson’s property and found him with a significant quantity of crack cocaine and heroin.
Both pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and the pair were sentenced to 45 months in prison each.
Police Constable Jack Maguire of Nuneaton Proactive CID said: “These drugs, and the criminal behaviour that comes with them, destroy lives.
“Anyone involved in their distribution can look forward to sharing a similar outcome to Shaw and Robinson.”
