 
                            A 33-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested and charged.
It happened yesterday afternoon at around 5:14pm. Police were called to inital reports of a man causing a disturbance outside the A&E at George Eliot Hospital.
James Geddes of Bentley Road, Nuneaton is alleged to have spat at two officers as they took hold of him, hitting one of them in the eye.
He was arrested and charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
He is due to appear at Coventry Magistrates Court on the 17th September.
