More will be open next week.
Charnwood GP Network, said they will run more drop-in sessions in the future, and are looking at vaccinating under 25s in multi-generational houses or living with the vulnerable.
Future sessions will also focus on areas with particularly high case rates.
The network, who ran the drop in sessions at the Borough Council Offices this week, told Fosse107 they have had a great turnout for the two clinics.
At the first session on Wednesday (9th June), 354 people received a jab followed by 329 on the Thursday session.
This coming week will see four clinics run by the Leicestershire Clinical Care Commissioning Group.
They will be open for four days starting this Thursday (17th June) from 12pm to 9pm at the Fearon Hall Community Centre on Rectory Road.
It will only be open to those who are clinically vulnerable or over 25, or who meet other criteria:
- You are aged 25 or over, or you will turn 25 before 1st July 2021
- You have a health condition which puts you at higher risk from Covid
- You are aged 18+ and you live with someone who is at higher risk from Covid either because they are aged 50 or over or they have a health condition
- You are aged 18+ and you live with two or more adults and you are not from the same family
- You are a carer
You are a health or care worker. Anyone who is ineligible will be turned away.
