The new trustees are hoping to add a Warm Wednesday Club and an edible gardening project.
Stockingford Community Centre has been handed over to Trustees to run.
It was managed by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and they issued an appeal to find a group to take over the centre.
Chair of Trustees, Jane Danger, said: "We are working very hard to reach a wider audience and believe that this centre can continue to go from strength to strength.
"We are passionate about the power of communities and urge people to make use of their local community centres to make sure they can be there for everyone to use in future."
The building and its operation have now passed to Stockingford Community Centre C.I.O. (Charitable Incorporated Organisation).
The Centre, in Haunchwood Road, already provides a wide range of community activity from Adele's School of Music to Zumba Classes, Boxing and Brownies to Short Mat Bowling and Tea and Chat.
Now the trustees are hoping to add a Warm Wednesday Club, an edible gardening project, a Friday hygiene bank and a community cafe each Thursday.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Finance and Corporate Services, Cllr Sam Croft, said: "The Borough Council firmly believes that facilities like community centres are best run by the communities they serve.
"The newly-formed committee at Stockingford are already doing a fantastic job, so I am delighted that they can now officially continue to set the plans and the pace of development of activity in their own community."
