The cap will be in place until March.
Bus companies across the East and West Midlands will be offering a £2 bus fare on a single bus ticket due to a cap put in place by the government.
The cap will be from January 1st to March 2023.
MP Grant Shapps, who was the Secretary of State for Transport in September, said:" On the 3rd of September, we announced plans to invest up to £60 million to introduce a £2 bus fare on a single bus ticket on most services in England outside London. This will start no later than 1 January 2023 and will be in place for a period of 3 months until March 2023.
"At a time when many are struggling with the rising cost of living, this is a significant investment that will result in millions of people across England saving on travel costs."
In the East Midlands, all Kinchbus routes will be included in the cap, as well as the 159 Roberts bus route which takes passengers from Hinckley to Coalville.
The majority of Stagecoach buses will also be included in the cap which means passengers will be able to travel through Hinckley and Nuneaton on a single ticket for £2.
