A scene preservation was on at two addresses in Tame Way.
Officers are continuing to investigate after a woman was found with a stab wound at a house in Tame Way, Hinckley.
Police were called at 2:15 am today (Monday 16 January) following a report of a man with a knife who was attempting to gain entry to a property in the street.
When officers arrived they found a woman, who is in her 40s, with an injury to her chest.
She is currently in hospital and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Two men, aged 31 and 34, were arrested in connection with the incident. The 31-year-old man remains in police custody and the 34-year-old man has been released under investigation.
A scene preservation was on at two addresses in Tame Way while officers carried out enquires at the scene. These have now been lifted.
From enquiries carried out so far, it is believed those involved are known to each other and police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
