They want to buy a neighbouring property due to the increasing number of animals they are dealing with.
Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary are looking to raise around £230,000 to purchase their next-door neighbour's home, as they are running out of space to care for the many animals they receive.
Set up in 2001 by Geoff Grewcock after he was forced to retire, the sanctuary has helped over 91,000 animals - an average of over 4,500 a year.
They operate out of Geoff's house and back garden, which is always teeming with whatever guests they have in at that time.
It is one of its kind for the area, offering a 24/7 service for wildlife as well as helping police and traffic officers with animals they may encounter. All done in a voluntary capacity.
They have volunteers but 71-year-old Geoff does the most work for the site.
Their next-door neighbours are moving out, and Geoff wants to buy the property to expand.
"It might get to a point when we can't accept anymore animals", Geoff said.
His daughter Emma said,
"We love what we do and we can only do this with your support. You have always come to our aid when we have needed you, and for that we are eternally greatful.
"We have always felt rather uncomfortable with asking for money, but an opportunity has risen that could take us into the next level of wildlife care. Our neighbours property has been placed on the market and we would love to be in a position to buy it. "
