A 15-week-old puppy has been stolen from a house in Stoney Stanton and officers are urging anyone who may know where she is to get in touch.

Wilma (pictured) was stolen during a burglary at a house in Station Road sometime between 3.45pm and 5.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 23 October).

She is a French Bulldog, brindle in colour, with a distinctive white chest and unusually large paws for her size.

As well as the puppy a spare set of car keys were also stolen during the incident.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been approached by someone selling a similar dog since yesterday or may know where Wilma is now.

They would also like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the Station Road area yesterday afternoon.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC 763 Paul Hicks on 101, quoting crime reference number 19*568231.
