Cyclist dies after serious collision with lorry in Nuneaton

Drivers are asked to avoid areas around College Street.

A 43-year-old man from Coventry has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.

Emergency services attended but the man, believed to be in his 70s, was declared dead at the scene

His next of kin have been informed. 

The crash happened at around 6:35 this morning (Friday 18th June) near the junction with Bull Ring.

An appeal has gone out for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who might have dashcam footage to come forward - quoting incident 46 of 18 June 2021.
