
From archery to dodgeball there are plenty for the kids to do during the October half-term break.
The borough council’s Active Charnwood team have put together activity sessions from Monday, October 14 until Friday, October 18 to help keep children active during the holidays.
Activities include arts and crafts, football and den building at The Outwoods.
Cllr Deborah Taylor, lead member for communities at the Council said: “The holiday activities programme always proves popular, and I’m pleased we’re able to offer a variety of different sessions to keep children active and entertained this autumn.
“There are also activities such as orienteering and a treasure hunt which are suitable for the whole family, so everyone can get involved in the fun.”
Activities on offer include:
- All-stars cricket
- Arts and crafts
- BoxFit
- Climbing
- Futsal
- Forest schools
- Horse riding
- Laser quest
Activities are taking place across the borough including Thurmaston, Mountsorrel, Shepshed and Loughborough.
Prices start from £4 and some activities are free to attend.
Wild Card holders can also enjoy great discounts on all activities. If you are aged five to 16, or have a disability and live or go to school in Charnwood, you can get your hands on a Wild Card by visiting www.charnwood.gov.uk/wildcard
