In the 2019 general election, this seat was won by former Conservative Andrew Bridgen who later became Independent.

- Carl Benfield - Green Party - 2,831 votes

- Andrew Bridgen - Independent - 1,568 votes

- Alice Delamare - Liberal Democrat - 1,629 votes

- Siobhan Dillon - 136 votes

- Amanda Hack - Labour Party - 16,871 votes

- Noel Matthews - Reform UK - 9,678 votes

- Craig Smith - Conservative Party - 15,859 votes

The turnout was 62.65%
