A yellow weather warning is in place for thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There are fears that sudden flooding could affect transport in the region, with driving conditions suffering the most.
There is also a 'small chance' of flooding to businesses and homes.
The warning lasts from 9am tomorrow (27th July) through to 6am the following day.
The Met Office said 20 to 30 mm of rain is possible in around one or two hours.
Some places could see as much as 60mm of rain in three to six hours.
