The order was put in place to prevent him from causing harassment to a named woman.
Darren Hodge, 31, of Tudor Road, Nuneaton has been jailed for 18 weeks for breaching a restraining order just two days after he had been released from prison for a previous breach of the order.
Hodge was jailed for 10 weeks in April after he breached the order. In June, two days after being released he was arrested again for breaching the order again by verbally abusing the woman.
PC Kendall Newby said: “The courts put restraining orders in place to protect people from harassment and we take any breach of them extremely seriously.
"I hope Mr Hodge uses his time in prison to consider his behaviour and how it impacts on others.”
