Emergency services were called to a house fire in Deer Acre, Loughborough, last night (Wednesday 2nd March).
Four fire engines from across the area were dispatched to the scene.
When the fire service arrived, smoke could be seen on the ground floor and there was no answer at the property.
Once the crew were inside the house they rescued one person who was suffering from smoke inhalation.
The fire is thought to have started by a pan left on a cooker.
