Three members of staff at Tarro Lounge have testing positive for Covid-19
A popular restaurant in Hinckley has been forced to close following a number of staff testing positive for covid-19
Tarro Lounge in the Crescent says none of its staff are not seriously unwell and no one else has been told to self isolate.
Customers will be contacted by NHS Track and Trace if they need to isolate.
It will re-open when everyone is fit and well, and will be deep cleaned in the meantime.
The owners have apologised for any anxiety caused by the announcement.
A message on the door reads,
"Unfortunately, we have decided to close Tarro Lounge temporarily because three of our team members have tested positive for coronavirus. Thankfully they are not seriously unwell.
"As yet no other members of the team have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test & Trace but we have decided to close as a precaution. We will re-open when we are confident our team are fit and well and the Lounge has been thoroughly deep cleaned and sanitised.
"We understand that this news will be of concern to those of you who have recently visited Tarro. We have been collecting details of customer visits for NHS Test & Trace, with many checking in through the Test & Trace app. If you don’t hear anything from NHS Test & Trace there is no reason for concern and you don’t have to do anything. If you want more detail this is a good resource…https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-test-and-trace-how-it-works.
"Our sincere apologies for any anxiety caused, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
"Warmest regards, The Tarro Team"
