A teeth whitening product that could 'significantly damage' teeth has been seized by officers at East Midlands Airport.
Leicestershire Trading Standards stopped a consignment of teeth whitening products as there was no packaging and the required labelling was missing.
When the product was tested it was found to contain 80 times the allowed level of Hydrogen Peroxide and 1.5 times the amount permitted for professional use.
Leicestershire Trading Standards, said: "This could significantly damage the protective enamel on your teeth.
"This product was going to be sold to the public but will now not be released."
