Wilma, a French bulldog, had been reported as stolen during a burglary at a house in Station Road sometime between 3.45pm and 5.45pm on Wednesday 23 October.
The puppy was found outside in the Braunstone area by a member of the public which led to Wilma’s owner being contacted.
Wilma’s identity was confirmed and the puppy has now been reunited with her owners.
Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances of Wilma going missing.
