New benches have been installed in Loughborough for people to enjoy takeaway food and books.
The benches which are in the design of open books also celebrate Ladybird Books.
Cllr Boker, lead member for Loughborough, is supporting the new Seat Out campaign and encouraging people to enjoy the colourful book benches which have been placed in Loughborough Town Centre.
The book benches will provide extra space for people to have a rest and enjoy a bite to eat and were commissioned for the Loogabarooga Festival of Brilliant Books and Incredible Illustrations to celebrate the centenary of Ladybird Books. You can find them in front of Loughborough Town Hall, around the Fearon Fountain and in Queen’s Park.
