They are asking people to share their memories at the Council’s celebration event in the town centre.
Cllr Jenny Bokor, lead member for Loughborough said: “We can’t wait to welcome the Baton to Loughborough on an afternoon which is set to be filled with lots of fun entertainment for the whole family.
“The Council is keen to hear from residents who may have a story to tell about the Commonwealth Games which they would be willing to share at the celebration event."
Submitted stories and photos will also be published across the Council’s social media channels and website.
If you would like to get involved in the celebration event by sharing your story, you can complete the online form at www.charnwood.gov.uk/CGStories.
