Shepshed armed robbery

Police are investigating after three men, armed with a weapon, robbed a store in Shepshed, Loughborough on Thursday 10th May. 

The men, who were masked and who were carrying what was believed to be a crowbar, entered the Co-Operative store in Hall Croft at around 6.20am.

Two people were present in the store at the time. The men stole bags of cash before leaving. No-one was injured.

Detective Constable Ian Button said: “Please think back to if you were near the store early this morning. Did you see or hear anything which you thought was unusual. Did you witness anything which you believe could be linked to this offence?

“If you have any information at all which you think could help, then please get in touch.”
