WASTE CALENDAR
- North West Leicestershire District Council no longer delivers printed waste collection calendars to households.
- They say the decision will save around £15,000 each year in costs.
- Residents can now download a calendar on the council's website or they have a small stock of printed copies available for collection from the Customer Centre on Belvoir Road in Coalville.
WEATHER
- The Met Office has implemented a yellow weather warning for wind and rain for tomorrow.
- They've said that strong winds and heavy rain could lead to some disruption and there's a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations.
- The warnings are in place until Sunday morning.
HOLIDAY SESSIONS
- Children and young people in Warwickshire eligible for benefits-related free school meals will be able to access activity sessions during the winter break from school.
- There are arts and crafts, sports, dance and performing arts sessions.
