Their injuries are not described as life changing or life threatening.
Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Newtown Linford yesterday evening.
Police received a call at 4.39pm yesterday (8 September) to a report of a collision in Bradgate Road involving a grey Range Rover Evoque and three pedestrians.
The pedestrians were all taken to hospital for treatment to injuries where they all currently remain. Their injuries are not described as life changing or life threatening.
The driver was not injured.
PC Michael Hinton, who is investigating the incident, said: “From our initial enquiries carried out so far and speaking to witnessed, it is believed that the vehicle mounted the pavement and struck the pedestrians who were talking in a group with another person.
“Our investigation continues into this incident and I would like to ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it and hasn’t as yet spoken to police to please urgently get in contact.”
