Police are asking for help to solve a vehicle crime. Were you there?
Loughborough Police are investigating an in incident where it is alleged a vehicle was damaged and the driver of the vehicle may have been assaulted.
On the force Facebook page officers said: "The incident took place just before 4pm, as the victim was driving his Vauxhall Astra along Ashby Road. It’s believed the occupant of a dark Volkswagen Passat was braking hard and causing the victim to also brake.
On the approach to the slip road off junction 23 of the M1, the suspect drove into the back of his car and damaged it. When the victim got out of his vehicle to speak to the driver the suspect drove towards him causing him to mount the Passat’s bonnet, before driving a short way with the victim on the bonnet.
The victim fell off the car and suffered grazes to his body. He was treated at the scene."
Officers would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone who captured the incident on a dashcam or a mobile telephone.
