The Tories won in a landslide result, now holding 24 seats in the council which has been Labour controlled for 48 of the last 50 years.
Before Thursday (6th May) no single party had overall control of the council, with Labour having the most seats on 17. The Conservatives were on 16 with one Green councillor.
After last night's huge shake-up however, the Tories are now firmly in control, with 24 seats to Labour's 7.
Excellent night for all of our candidates. Exceptional effort from every single member in Nuneaton and Bedworth.

Our first majority since 2008 and a crushing victory over Labour. Time to regenerate the town we love and deliver for our townsfolk.
Only one Labour candidate was successful last night, losing 11 seats in total.
I’m delighted that @NuneatonMatters and @BedworthTories gained a massive 11 seats and will now take control of @NBBCouncil . A missive effort by all concerned. Thank you to everyone that supported the Conservative candidates.
